We have just returned to California after a month in Europe. One of the highlights of our trip was the Wetlands Safari. It was so much fun. Our granddaughter, Jessica, is still talking about it. I want to thank you for providing us with this wonderful experience. It was really fun and easy…even at our age and inexperience. Your picnic was memorable too. Thanks again for a delightful outing.

This was a fun, different way to spend most of a day and have a chance to escape the busy Amsterdam city center while getting a bit of exercise too. The guide, Majel, who is also the owner of the tour company will wait outside the Amsterdam Central train station in the morning. You will take a local bus and travel a short distance into the country right outside Amsterdam. It will give you a quick view of life outside the city. It is amazing how fast the city stops and the fields begin. The town is criss-crossed with waterways. Canoeing through the village and through a local nature preserve, you will get an explanation as to how the land has been actually created by the Dutch out of lakes and ponds. No prior canoeing experience would be necessary. If you are interested, the company has a website.

Dank voor je uitstekende begeleiding en geduld met mijn typische stadsmensen als mijn familie uit Hong Kong. De kinderen vonden achteraf de trilveen erg spannend, al stonden ze toen waarschijnlijk voor je neus wat verdwaald te kijken (“waarom sta ik in de modder?!?”). We hebben prachtige wolkenpartijen gezien en die twee grote plensbuien van een half minuut hebben ons zeer goed gedaan. De kanotoer heeft diepe indruk achtergelaten bij de kinderen, zelf heb ik me kostelijk vermaakt. Dank hiervoor!

Dear Majel, I had a very good time on your wetlandssafari tour on 3th August with people from Hawaii. It was a lot of fun. Thank you very much for your nice guided tour. I continued my travel in Belgium and enjoyed it. Yesterday I came back to Japan. It is hot and humid this summer in Japan. I wish you a good summer and I hope I’ll visit Amsterdam again.

Just a quick message to say thank-you for organising a wonderful day for Cirque du Soleil. The tandems, canoes and especially the lovely lunch outside with super lovely food and fruit salad. Everyone enjoyed themselves, and we will remember it as a great day for sure. I will definitely recommend this to other companies too, should anyone need an idea.
